I have this dataframe:

I would like to use ".apply" with a user define function and ".groupby" and simultaneously I would like to exclude some hours in the ".apply call".
This is what I have done so far:

As you can notice, I use ".groupby('date')" in order to have a group for each date.
After that, I apply the function "rmse" with
dfr.apply(rmse, s1='rr.price',s2='ax.price')
The point is that in "rmse" al 24 hours for each day are taken into account.
I would like to exclude for example hour 1,2,3 and 20,21,22,24 in each day. Basically apply the rmse with 24-7 data for each day.
