3d - Meshlab 2020.12 crashing while opening STL

Question

I am unable to open STLs on Meshlab 2020.12. It gives me no error messages and just crash. However, I did try it on some STL that I have successfully opened in previous versions of Meshlab and Meshlab 2020.12 opens those STL that was opened before just fine.

Not really sure what is going on here.
