hdfs - when i upload a big file to hadoop, how to verify the integrity of the file?

Question

I want to upload a big file to hadoop environment with command hadoop fs -put. I wonder if put can guarantee the integrity of this file? If not, I wonder how do i check if the transmission is successful？
