node.js - InversifyJS express with app-level log middleware doesn't work

I'm using @google-cloud/logging-bunyan for logging in google app engine project, and InversifyJS express. Trying to use this express middleware to bundle logs per request, but it doesn't seem to work on inversify controllers:

import './controllers/UserController';
import * as lb from '@google-cloud/logging-bunyan';

const server = new InversifyExpressServer();

server.setConfig(async (app: express.Application) => {
    const { mw } = await lb.express.middleware();

    app.use(mw);
    app.get('/logme', (req, res) => {
        // here "req.log" is defined
    });
    ...
}

./controllers/UserController.ts:

@controller('/user')
export default class UserController extends BaseHttpController {
    @httpGet('/:userId')
    private async get(@request() req: Request, @response() res: Response) {
        // here "req.log" is undefined
    }
}

Any idea why I can't attach this middleware to inversify controllers? And whats the workaround? Btw I have more "global" middlewares in the application, like express.json(), and they works and apply on the controllers routes.
