Q: I am working with Oracle database 8.1.7 and I have written a JAVA code to update the table which contains one BLOB field . I am using updateBinaryStream method of resultset to update the BLOB field but it is failing after giving following exception java.sql.SQLException: Internal Error: Unable to construct a Datum from the specified input Can anyone help me in this regard ? A: That's because you are using FileInputStream. FileInputStream doesn't implement all methods of java.io.InputStream. Use java.io.File instead. |
