You can add a new source directory with build-helper:

            <artifactId>build-helper-maven-plugin</artifactId>
            <version>3.2.0</version>
            <executions>

                    <phase>generate-sources</phase>
                    <goals>

                    <configuration>
                        <sources>
                            <source>src/main/generated</source>
                        </sources>
                    </configuration>
                </execution>
            </executions>
