wav - Shutdown sound can't be played longer than 5 seconds in Windows 7

Question

Windows 7 can't play shutdown sounds more than 5 seconds and after 5 seconds, the sound stops suddenly. My sound is 12 seconds, but Windows only gives 5 seconds to end and doesn't allow the sound to end completely.. I'm not sure about Windows 7 and newer, but my Windows XP could play 13 seconds sound completely and olders play sounds with any lengths. How do I increase the length play time? Thanks.
