hyperlink - Prefill forms with URL on page with variable URL

Question

I'm trying to use the url to prefill the username on a website, and I know I'm setting up the url correctly as it's being prefilled using jsbin.com.

Unfortunately, for some reason the page is not accepting the input.

There are two ways I'm trying to do this, one is interacting with a redirect link that will move to the login page if I'm not already logged in. This way is not working, and I assume it's because I'm either not passing the variables correctly, or that it is just not possible with this method.

The other is editing the URL on the actual login page with the form info I was to prefill, which is also not working.

For reference, The first method I'm trying is with this URL: https://www.arbfile.org/webapp/execute/memberHome

The second method, the URL has some authentication measures that I assume will vary based on the access point. Below is the code for the textbox I wish to update.
