ruby - RubyMine using "" to call commands in WSL2

I've my project files inside my WSL2 distribution and I've installed RubyMine with the .exe file on Windows recently. I don't know much about ruby tooling so I decided to give this IDE a try because people say it has the best tooling support and can install gems and other things all by itself. After installing I've opened the project in RubyMine using the //wsl$/Ubuntu-20.04/home/username/project_dir/ path. I've created a WSL remote interpreter and selected my WSL instance there. I've also set up a path mapping from //wsl$/Ubuntu-20.04/home/username/project_dir/ to home/username/project_dir/ because without this all the shell commands run from the IDE failed. Basically, I followed the official documentation Now I'm stuck with

\wsl$Ubuntu-20.04homeusernamew4hs
esume-builderin
ake
Error:[rake --prereqs] bash: homeusername.asdfshimsundle: command not found
Error:[rake --prereqs] bash: homeusername.asdfshimsundle: command not found

I've no idea why it's using "" instead of a "/". How to fix this issue? Thanks!!!
