How I archive grid tiled Islands as topdown. I tried using Perlin noise but struggled with that it looks like just a circle and cut off at the border then. I know that the way would be using a mask with Perlin noise but I don't know how maybe someone can help or has ideas? I also don't want to use a complicated algorithm which found when using google :)
I have a simple grid with 100 gridsize and cubes try to create an island shape in the middle with just water around it and no loose parts.
Please can someone tell me the correct way?
