Rendertron for SEO (Reactjs)

I am currently debating using Nextjs or Rendertron with Reactjs. However I cannot seem to find any resources about this question. As seen by the graph, the bot will be served with an extra request from the server. Will that extra request be seen as a slower load time thus causing lower SEO because of slow load time?
