java - How to have a token and replace it in string

I have a query in xml cdata which i am accessing using beans and storing the value in a string . In the query I have a token $datatype which is based on a condition if db is multibyte or not.

eg: "SELECT test" + test," 0," Cast('' AS ${datatype}(MAX)) "

Here the $datatype: can be either varchar or nvarchar based. How do i store this data and how do i replace the token with its value?

question from:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65921342/how-to-have-a-token-and-replace-it-in-string
