python - Ndarray in Dictionaries

I'm a beginner at using networkx, which uses dictionaries for its graphs.

I want to label my nodes with numpy arrays such as [1,2] which is not supported for dictionaries:

>>>import numpy as np
>>>{ array([1,2]): {} }
TypeError: unhashable type: 'numpy.ndarray'

I know that tuples work as a node:

{ (1,2): {} }

however this means that I need convert/reconvert between tuples and arrays in order to do some math.

Is there another datatype/ method where I can use arrays as nodes?
