Okay! So, I have tried
Properties --> configurations--> uncheck/recheck debug/release.. That did not work!
Clean --> Unload --> Reload --> Rebuild. That did not work!
Restarted my laptop. That did not work.
A lot of stack overflow searches later.... I found a helpful answer from the great ebol2000 see link : VS 2017 Metadata file '.dll could not be found
I checked VS's Output window in VS and decided that I should deleted my darn project that I recently created (my code was building fine before I created the project). I created a new project with an older Framework (.NET Framework 4.5.2). That worked!
Please any suggestions?? I need to know because it took me hours to figure this out.
