python - Google maps (distance matrix) api results differs a little bit with actual google maps website

Question

I use the google maps api distance matrix using the function below:

map = gmaps.distance_matrix(source, destination,
                            mode='walking', units='metric',
                            language='en-EN')

but all my results for distance seems to give me a close results with web (manual) version of it (+21 meters, or -15 meters, etc)

Does google maps website actually give the distance in 50m increment and api with actually accurate distance?
