javascript - How to load a new page without reloading

Question

I'm trying to use the pushState() function, so that when I press the button, the page changes to the quiz.html file without reloading. I've tried searching on the web how to use it, but I'm having a hard time understanding it. I tried to write it like this, but it only changes the URL of the page and doesn't change the page itself. Am I using it incorrectly, or should I try something else?

startBtn.addEventListener("click", quizPage)

function quizPage() {
    window.history.pushState("", 'Hello!', "quiz.html")
}
