plugins - Wordpress Harmony theme dropdown won't work in desktop mode

Question

I'm a newbie in wordpress development. I'm currently doing a project using wordpress that has the php, plugins and theme that haven't been updated. So there's an issue where the dropdown won't work on desktop mode. Is there a way to fix this without updating the theme?

The theme that is used is Harmony by elegant theme ver 1.6 (the latest version is 2.something)
